CANCELLATION OF ORDER
Under the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000 (Distant Selling) act, customers have the right to cancel an order within 14 calendar days of receipt of the goods for any reason. The customer has the right to either return the appliance to our warehouse in Southampton or request collection by The German Appliance Store. If the customer requests a collection of an item that is not damaged or faulty, a small charge may be incurred in order to cover the cost of collection. All appliances are to be returned with their original packaging and intact. The 14 day period starts the day after the item is delivered. All cancellations must be received in writing by email or letter to our head office. Goods are refunded within 30 days.
Upon receipt of goods, please inspect the appliance for any damages or missing items. If damage has occurred, please contact us by email or writing within a prompt period. We will then arrange for an engineer to inspect the appliance to confirm damage or missing parts and arrange a repair or replacement of the damaged or missing items.
If your appliance develops a fault within the manufacturers guarantee period, please contact us via email/ writing or telephone. We will then arrange for inspection by the manufacturers agents or a return of the item. This does not affect your statutory rights.
